Hi, I'm Jennifer

My passion for working with communication disorders started when my youngest brother with Down Syndrome required speech and language therapy. I saw the positive impact speech therapy had on his life.

I knew I wanted to make that same impact on other childrens' lives and make sure each child had a voice.

After many years working in preschools and K-12 schools, I've been blessed with the opportunity to provide therapy through Chickadee Speech Therapy, LLC.

My Story

I received my Bachelor's degree in Finance from the University of Florida. I received my Master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Central Florida. I gained valuable experience in speech, language, reading and writing intervention during my time working in preschool, K-12 schools and private practice clinics. I have also worked successfully with sensory processing, feeding difficulties, auditory processing and social communication. As a mother of one beautiful daughter, I know how important it is to have the best services for your child. When I am not supporting communication or feeding, I enjoy spending my time hiking, reading and watching Gator football with my family.
